In the time of social media, it is difficult not feeling like others’ life are always better; however, this quote reminds us that, if we worked as hard on improving our own life as we do envying others, we would be happier too.
Also, never forget that we see the perfectly edited part of our friends’ life in their feed: we can ‘t compare it to our “outtakes”. And who knows what is behind the perfect shot, or even the apparently perfect life? What did they leave out of the shot? How many people seem to have it perfectly together, only to collapse and melt behind closed doors?
