Happy International Woman’s Day! By the way, did you know that the first Woman’s Day was celebrate right here in the US, on February 28, 1909. It is interesting that now, US, is pretty much the only civilized country not to celebrate it.
Just to be clear, it is not another excuse to buy flowers or sweets: today we celebrate all the advancements made by women in the past year, but also how much further we had to go.
Women comprise 51% pf the population, and have so much to contribute to the well being of the world: how about giving them a chance? This year’s theme is Balance For Better
So, encourage your little girls to set their sights hight, and let’s support each other to build a better world.
