This week, I will use quotes in Italian, from Italian authors. Which is your favorite? If you have a suggestion for a quote, or a weekly theme, please let me know in a comment below.
Imparerai a tue spese che nel lungo tragitto della vita incontrerai molte maschere e pochi volti. Luigi Pirandello
You will learn, at your own expenses, that in the long journey f life, you will meet many masks and few faces.
I have always liked Pirandello, for his ability of looking behind human failings and using them to great beautiful plays. This quote resonate with me: too many times I have been a bad judge of character and failed to realized I was instead looking at an elaborate mask.
However, this will not change my attitude towards people, even if, I notice that I am a little more cautious now.

If you want to learn a bit more about Pirandello’s work, I recommend to start with one of his most famous masterpieces: Uno, Nessuno, Centomila (one, no one and one thousand).
