Sometimes we obsess about our future and what will it will be. We try to control every little variable, to direct it as it was a movie. We should learn to just let life happen: let it surprise us with a splendid adventure, or even just a small surprise.
Interesting enough, after I chose this image, I read the photographer’s caption, and, sure enough,his caption contained almost the same exact words of my quote. It was meant to be. The image is taken in Kirkjufell, Iceland, and the photographer was surprised by the Aurora Borealis (Northern lights), just as he was packing up to leave.
