According to Idiomation, the original Danish is: Ondt bliver aldrig godt for halv vaerre kommer.
I don’t like to be political on this blog, but there are times when you can’t avoid it. I believe this is one of these times and this quote resonated with me.
Thinking about this proverb may help you tolerate some bad circumstances: it could be worse, after all. Also, sometime, the bad time will usher along much better ones…let’s hope it works this time as well. Some signs of positive coming out of a negative are here already.
