Life is definitively a ride, more specifically a rollercoaster; what allows us to endure it and enjoy it, is love. It is not an original thought, but I think it is a wonderful metaphor. Someone else who shared this thought was Alex Schachter , who attended high school at Parkland and lost his life on that tragic day. Alex wrote a poem with the title Life is Like a Rollercoaster a couple of weeks before; read Alex’s poem: it is wonderful in its simplicity.
So, find someone to love, and you will not be alone. It does not have to be romantic: love in all its forms is what we are all about. Don’t wait to tell them how much they mean to you. So find your love and your passion and enjoy the ride.
