This seems a no brainer: who would willingly accept pain? However, we should ask ourselves how far do we go to avoid possible pain, real or imagined? Are we stopping ourselves from trying new experiences? Are we so scared to be hurt that we close up to the outside world or build a formidable wall to keep everyone away? (no political commentary intended)
